In April alone, 161 appointments were lost because the practices was not advised that the patient could not attend. That is the equivalent to 6 clinical days worth of appointments.
There has been a lot of media coverage in recent months regarding patients not being able to get an appointment or having to wait a long time for one. At Parish Fields Practice we pride ourselves on the service we provide our community and aim to get patients booked in promptly to be seen as soon as possible.
To help us provide the best service, please can we urge all patients to cancel their appointment in advance if you cannot make it by:
- Replying to the text message which confirmed the appointment.
- Via our appointments page.
- By advising reception in person or via telephone.
