Diane is our Practice Nurse Manager, responsible for the leadership and development of the Nursing Team at The Parish Fields Practice. Diane is currently also undergoing additional training to become an Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Practitioners are Registered Nurses who have done additional training and academic qualifications to be able to examine, assess, make diagnosis, treat, prescribe and make referrals for patients of any age who present with undiagnosed problems.

• Mrs Sarah Ireland

Sarah runs same day clinics, and is also trained in contraception, women’s health, diabetes, asthma and COPD.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
